Moving Progress

It's official and it's exciting!

Breathe is relocating to 21 S. Jackson St. in the old Post Office and what is now the Hometown Pharmacy building.

First day of classes is April 1st, no foolin'!!

(Classes will continue through March 31st in our current space)

I'm excited to share this process with you all. It's been really special to be so involved in creating a vision and to have the support from old and new friends in doing so. In the last few weeks, I have been making a lot of decisions - wall placements, paint colors, flooring...and I feel very blessed to have this opportunity. I can't wait to have you all in the new space!

In the meantime, here's a photo montage of the process so far. Not pictured are two treatment rooms - one will be for massage, the other is unaccounted for. They are each about 9'X10' with no windows. The massage room is available for rent evenings and Sundays and the other is up for grabs. The vision began while walking through the old Janesville Post Office. It required an imagination which I was surprised I had! It has been unoccupied for quite some time, waiting for the right person to envision using this unique, historic space -

Now, I love salmon - just not so much the color. Here's our friend from Stratton & Sons making big change happen. They have been awesome to work with and helped a great deal with picking out the right colors. I wouldn't say I'm their pickiest and most indecisive client, but I was impressed with their patience :)

To the right will be my *executive* office and treatment room and to the left are the two treatment rooms for rent.

Where there were once no walls, there are now studs. J C Builders, also have been great to work with. Putting up with all of my questions and supervising ;)

Guess what this room is going to be used for....okay, I'll tell you! The new Breathe will be featuring a Sunlighten Far Infrared Sauna!!!! :D This is perhaps the most exciting development for me. You will be able to reserve the room for a private session of sauna-ing and self care. More details to come. In the meantime, you can read about this superior sauna brand and all the health benefits of Far Infrared rays.

Where there once were only studs, now there are walls! It's happening!

There's still a lot of work to be done. This will be our bathroom with brand new fixtures. I'll leave the paint color a surprise :)

For those who love the natural light, old building character, and sprawling wood floor of our current space, you're in luck. The Post Office has 24 foot ceilings with equally large windows. I have chosen an elegant and grounding floor color - which I will also leave a surprise. This new space will be full of historic character and I am very excited to fill it with all of our positive energy and peaceful vibes.
